He lost his second match to Terao, a pretty good kid

Who I believe was a redshirt senior and wrestled a great tournament, losing a close match to Tomasello to finish in 4th place. He caught Joey in a throw early, and held on for the win.

In Joey's second loss, against the kid from ODU, he apparently tore ligaments in his ankle, but still finished the match and only lost 4-3. That match was bad luck, but ideally he should haven't lost to Terao and then wouldn't even have been in that match.

At that level, these guys are so good that you can't afford to have a bad match, everyone there has the ability to beat anyone given an opportunity. One mistake can be all it takes. There were several upsets up and down the brackets.
